Back to the ’80S: Repaying a Debt of Gratitude

Her name is Tong Xiaoyu. She's fifteen, an abandoned baby. It was drizzling the day her adoptive mother found her, so she named her Tong Xiaoyu, “Little Rain.” Her eldest brother is twenty-eight and a soldier. Her second brother is twenty-four and a doctor. Her third brother just finished the college entrance exam at eighteen. They say he did well, and he's aiming for Tsinghua or Peking University. Her parents are ordinary workers. That's her family, but don't underestimate them: she's the apple of everyone's eye. But she's no obedient girl. She dropped out before finishing high school, driving her mother into depression. Her father was beaten to death by criminals because of her, her eldest brother donated a kidney to her, and her second brother took on a huge loan for her. Her third brother got into fights for her so many times that he was expelled from Peking University. She eventually died a tragic death on the street. Fortunately, Heaven gave her a chance to make things right. She is reborn at fifteen, just after finishing her middle school entrance exams.
