Special Forces king Wang Xi returns from the military to his hometown to find out what happened to his older brother, Wang Dong. Not long ago, a mine where his brother worked suffered a tunnel collapse. Wang Xi lost contact with him afterward, so he rushed back home.
To his surprise, every mine owner he asked claimed that no one named Wang Dong had ever worked in their tunnels, and the investigation hit a dead end. Sensing that something was wrong, Wang Xi continued asking around.
At last, someone in the know revealed a shocking truth: to reduce compensation, the owners of the mine where the accident happened used excavators to bury the people who were still alive a second time. They then concealed the true death toll from the authorities and denied that the victims had ever worked there.
Wang Xi was stunned. He swore he would get to the bottom of the matter and secure justice for his brother and the other victims.
Wang Xi then joined the local police in investigating the disaster. But with insufficient evidence and powerful protectors obstructing the inquiry, the investigation came to nothing.
With no other choice, Wang Xi acted alone, setting off on a thrilling campaign of revenge against the criminal underworld.
