In the bustling coastal city of Binhai, young doctor Lin Feng has put down roots at the unassuming Ankang Clinic, carrying his dreams with him. Born into a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, he is highly skilled and deeply compassionate, patiently treating the minor ailments of local residents each day. Then one day, he urgently saves a little girl suffering from a febrile seizure, and word of his skills spreads across a nearby construction site. The workers turn to him for help, and with his remarkable traditional medicine, he helps an injured worker through a desperate situation. His reputation begins to grow. But success attracts envy. Wang Fugui, the director of the private Ren'ai Hospital, becomes jealous and maliciously spreads rumors to bring Lin Feng down. Lin Feng refuses to back down. He posts a statement and invites patients to testify, shattering the rumors with his honesty as business at the clinic flourishes. After that, in pursuit of greater medical mastery, Lin Feng plans to expand the clinic, bring in new equipment, and recruit talented staff. Even while busy, he continues to study medicine and take part in academic exchanges.
