Monster Apocalypse: From the Start, I Had Ten Peashooters

[Plants vs. Zombies + Trevor Henderson Monster Universe + survival + PVZ across all versions + original setting and worldbuilding + multiple storylines featuring plant heroes]

The blood moon shines over the world as monsters from fantasy invade reality and slaughter humans at will. While countries around the globe descend into endless chaos and darkness, Zhang Yu and Dave are cowering in fear at Fan Dou Garden, only to discover that the plants, which usually just act cute, can actually hurt monsters!

The two watch as a Peashooter knocks a monster's head clean off. They exchange glances, then break into mischievous grins~

Me! An ordinary person who can't even hurt a fly! Ten Peashooters from the start! Monsters, prepare to die!

From then on, Zhang Yu's whole approach takes a turn:

While others are chased by monsters, screaming for their mothers, we sit behind a Wall-nut and sip ice-cold soda!

While others fight over supplies and food, we fret over having too much food and fancy steaks to finish!

As a city-destroying Titan monster looms over the sky and every survivor falls into despair, Dave chews on a taco and points ahead, speaking through a full mouth:

“Buddy, it's time to show them what a ‘Cob Cannon’ can do.”
