The protagonist, Liu Chen, suddenly dies at an internet cafe and his soul transmigrates into the body of Liu Shan's second son, the ruler of Western Shu in the later Three Kingdoms period. As an outstanding young man of the modern age, he joins forces with a group of friends, using his passion and wealth of modern knowledge to turn the tide, save Western Shu from disaster, and restore its former glory.
