The heroine is a crow spirit lord who has lived for thirty thousand years, and her sole purpose in life is to protect peace among humanity. The hero is an ordinary human, yet he shares an inseparable bond and destiny with the Crow Spirit Lord. Thirty thousand years ago, to slay the demon king Jiuying, who was wreaking havoc upon the mortal world, the hero’s family gouged out the heart of the first Crow Spirit Lord to forge a divine-slaying sword, sealing Jiuying in the waters of Xiong. Thirty thousand years later, Jiuying’s remains lie dormant on the ocean floor, absorbing vast amounts of nuclear radiation and mutating into a new demon core. Now it seeks to rise again and turn the mortal world into a living hell once more. The Crow Spirit Lord has kept pace with the times over these thirty thousand years, but she has also lost faith in humanity. She decides to wield the power of the Elegy and join forces with modern weapons to eradicate Jiuying once and for all.
