Let's All Write a Novel Together

Time-Space Deadlock: I Kill Myself in the Apocalypse

Three years after the spiritual qi revival, I became a time prisoner hunted by all of humanity.

Tu Jiuge’s nightmare always came at three in the morning: 999 corpses of himself floated inside shattered glass tanks in a laboratory. When his teammates shook him awake for the city defense squad’s training, the monitor on his wrist suddenly let out a piercing alarm. In the two minutes he’d been asleep, the space-time coordinates had jumped a full ten years.

“Your ability hasn’t awakened?” Instructor Li Yang’s fireball exploded past Tu Jiuge’s ear, only to flow backward in a bizarre way when it touched his sweat-damp bangs. Nobody noticed the bloodstained Taiji jade pendant in his pocket growing hot, and nobody knew that five kilometers away on the battlefield, the eyes of the rampaging intelligent beast, a goat, reflected the figure of Tu Jiuge sleepwalking the night before.

■ A man-eating goat that evolves by blocking bone spikes with a knife ■ Every nightmare rewrites the timeline of his teammates’ deaths

■ The space-time rift hides the 999 corpses of Jiuge, brought back to life ■ Every member of the guard squad is a traitor from the future

“When you find out I’m the key to the spiritual qi revival...” Tu Jiuge grabbed Captain Chen Bo, who was on the brink of death, inside the space-time rift. “Remember, your knife has to pierce my heart before time reverses.”
