Where the Clouds Rest and Cranes Sing

[Cool, stubborn innocent girl × refined, desire-driven heir]

[Warm, radiant ray of sunshine × a ruthless devil in human form]

[A bittersweet story of three troubled souls saving one another]

In the main hall of Fafu Temple, he pointed his gun at a silver-haired man. When he saw her spread her arms and insist on standing in front of him, despair clouded his dark eyes, and his gun hand trembled. “Awu, you would actually betray me for this bastard?”

On the snow-white Mist Island, she knelt before the hospital bed in her wedding dress, weeping bitterly. Behind her, he knelt on both knees, covered in blood, his eyes bloodshot and his whole being as lowly as dust. “Awu, I’d rather have been the one to die. Please turn around and look at me one more time. Love me again.”

Snow fell onto her dark hair. He held her, her hair turned white overnight, and pressed a gun to his temple. “Awu, the moment you were born, the Matchmaker tied a thousand knots to bind our fates together. Now you’ve lost your soul and I’ve fallen into ruin. If you want to die, I’ll go with you. In our past life, this life, and the next, wherever you go, I’ll follow. Forever.”

Seagulls take flight; waves crash against the shore.

All falls silent, yet the soul remains bound to its beloved.
