[Blurb]
A fantastical love story about a heroine who, on her way to becoming a Warrior of Light, conquers an arms dealer.
After 32-year-old Hou Yunzhou gets bitten on the neck by an 18-year-old brat named Nuo Qi, he agrees to her parents’ request to keep her in line. He’s supposed to make her give up her dream of becoming a warrior, stop her from stockpiling useless weapons, keep her out of the Military Department, and even sabotage her chances so she loses a competition and gets taken down a peg...
Hou Yunzhou, forced to play along: “I know you want to become a Warrior of Light, build an arsenal, work for the Military Department, and win the competition. But those aren’t things you should be thinking about.”
Nuo Qi, eagerly preparing for battle: “Ahem! It’s much more exciting to think about things I shouldn’t want. For example, you.”
“Your mother asked me to keep an eye on you. She’s worried you’ll choose the wrong person.”
“If I choose you, does that count as choosing wrong? Why not ask my mother?”
