Part One: The Beast in the Cage
As a secret bargaining chip of the Tower, Pei Ji becomes the youngest mecha academy professor in the Empire. But someone refuses to let him have things his way.
Gifted, cold, and exceptionally rational, he is forced to link his mind to the mental domains of two high-ranking Sentinels, Bai Yi and Yun Jin.
On the surface, it is a cooperative match. In truth, it is a contest that leaves him trapped.
Yun Jin closes in step by step, laying traps through confinement and deception. He is even willing to gamble with the person closest to him, determined to keep Pei Ji captive.
Bai Yi is gentle and restrained, but he has never stopped entangling himself with Pei Ji mentally either.
In this world, love has never been salvation. It means possession, devouring, and keeping someone caged.
But Pei Ji belongs to no one.
He calmly dismantles the mental-control System, steering the entire Falcon Season toward collapse with his own hands.
When everyone thinks he is about to give in, he turns the tables in another way.
His mental entity awakens, and his real scheme is only just beginning.
Part Two: A Marriage Out of Place
To escape the Tower and the Sentinels’ combined control, Pei Ji disguises his Guide coding and infiltrates the insectoid race. During transmission, however, he accidentally swaps identities with an insectoid male.
When he wakes, he is a “male insect” and has been forcibly entered into the insectoid marriage-matching System. The partner personally chosen by the male insect is Yu Yu, a former insectoid colonel who now goes by “Space Pirate” and is rumored to have been exiled for “insubordination and brutality.”
But no one knows the truth. Yu Yu is clearer-eyed than anyone.
The insectoids gossip that the male insect must be insane to agree to this marriage,
but Pei Ji alone remains resolute:
“If you were a female insect, I’d marry you.”
“But I’m not.”
“Then I’ll make the insectoids accept it.”
Words cannot express my love for this novel. I will use the most original method to say that it is very beautiful!! Come and take a look!!
It would be nice if the story line was more complete. I don't know if I should write a sub-cp extra in capital letters or not. I'm super frustrated 🥰
This book is very beautiful! The language and writing have a very high-level feeling 🥰 Kaiwen needs some thinking [salute] It's really good! Why are there so few people 🥺 Woo hoo hoo, what have I missed? 🥺 I'm sorry, madam, I've been stocking it on the bookshelf for so long and missed the update. This book is simply amazing 🥺 🥰 🥰 😘 😘
I've been following updates for a few days, and the more I read, the more confused I become. Is this a group portrait article? Yun Jin and Bai Yize have so many scenes, I don't know who is the protagonist 🤦.
Who are the two protagonists of this book?
