Prism of the Fog City

The fog that so often spills over the riverbanks wraps itself around the neon lights and warm bustle of the streets, tucking the thoughts of everyone journeying through this world safely into its hazy veil.

We are all travelers making our way through the fog, carrying confessions left unspoken and long-buried memories on our backs. We've stumbled into unexpected moments of affection and held on to regrets no one else knows about. We always thought love was a beam of light with a single, fixed shape, one that had to shine brightly and end perfectly to make our meeting worthwhile.

Until a prism fell and broke that light into countless gentle facets.

This book holds story after story of love born in the fog. Some end happily, others in regret; some burn with fierce passion, while others run deep and still as calm waters. There are no cookie-cutter fairy tales here, only the most genuine human love: the reckless, wholehearted devotion of the young, the restrained tenderness of adults who remain steadfast, and every moment you and I have lived through in love.

The fog has yet to lift, and stories about love will never run out. May you look through this prism and see love in all its many forms, and may you eventually find the light of your own, one that will never fade.
