From the start, he wakes up in a coffin covered in bloodstains, with a dead husband lying beside him. He closes his eyes and a faceless man forces him underwater to gulp down water. He opens them again and a fat Taoist's peachwood sword is about to stab right through him.
He jumps out of the coffin in a panic, scaring two people unconscious, then the original owner speaks sweetly: "Young master, please calm down."
"Please stop being inside my head and speaking with my mouth. Thank you."
Before he transmigrated, he heard his older brother personally ask his attending physician to make sure his younger brother would be healthy in this world and find himself a wonderful romance.
Why is everything so different from what he expected?
The System coaxes and cajoles him, telling him not to panic yet, because his top priority is earning recommendation points. As long as he gets enough points, everything can be worked out.
And so our precious Lin Yu clutches his behind and begins his daily routine of not acting human in this new world.
The System makes him do missions, starting by telling him to kill an NPC. He gets so carried away that he kills three at a time, minimum.
The System tells him to win over a target, and he becomes a completely different person on and offstage. His target complains, "What the hell? One second you're pouting like crazy, acting like you can't live without my kisses, and the next, once you've got enough points, you're ready to trade me in?"
Wan Qiyue was a perfectly decent person, until the White Moonlight Loop turned him into a lunatic.
"I love you. Do you believe me?"
At first it was, "Stay away from me." Now it's, "Come here, darling, give me a hug."
Even his good buddy, the little scholar who kept insisting he was straight, is won over by his extravagant spending and shouts to the heavens, "Brother, I'm yours!"
At this point, Lin Yu is the one who doesn't want to go along with it. Who has any interest in romance when you can coast through life without worrying about money? Time to wash up and sleep. Oh, right, there's still a hidden character in the bathtub. Just as he's suffering through all this, the husband he married in a ghost marriage, who had turned to ashes, shows up again...
