I Am Pride. How Will You Deal with Me?

[Infinite-flow + comedic style + one female lead + not brainless]

“Pride, truly, makes one unbearably lonely...”

Sitting alone atop a tall building, Ji Ning felt the original sin he had just acquired: pride.

Looking out over the distant city swallowed by night, Ji Ning murmured,

“With pride in hand, I stand calm before an army of thousands.

Eyes ablaze with envy, I bite down in delight in the depths of the dark.

Blood boiling with wrath, my mad sword points north as hellfire consumes the sky.

Bones steeped in sloth, a spiderweb-shrouded coffin seals away time.

A belly pregnant with gluttony, an endless abyss devours the eight directions.

A soul bound by lust, I turn into a butterfly and imprison myself in a gentle grave.

A heart fed on greed, I wager my soul in an eternal night of gambling.”

“Hahaha! How interesting.”

Only when all seven deadly sins were his did Ji Ning seem to understand.

“So this is the essence of human nature.”

Ji Ning stood silently atop the mountain, smiling as he watched the world's joys and sorrows.

“This farce should come to an end.”

“If human nature is evil, then I shall become the chief of all evils and suppress the wicked thoughts of all humankind.”
