This so-called book is like a spark of lightning in March. Think of it as an experiment. With the same protagonist, the same setting, and the same gun, it lets time flash across the American West of the seventeenth century. At first, I planned to make it a time loop or a parallel world, but that felt clichéd, so I decided to break it into fragments instead and try to piece them together into a free-form temporal cocoon. The idea was to come up with ten or eighteen fragments, then fill in the gaps, glue them together, and stitch them up, forming a closed loop over two or three chapters.
In the end, I personally feel it failed.
If you have a moment, dear readers, please take the time to share a little feedback and brainstorm with me.
My personal feeling is that human effort has its limits. Not every spark can start a prairie fire.
