[Post-Apocalyptic Wasteland Zombie Story, Twisted Human Nature, Everyone Is a Villain]
A grim tone, with no golden finger, pocket dimension, or supernatural powers.
An unknown virus sweeps across the globe overnight. Lin Yucheng, a television cameraman, and Xu Jianan, the station's star beauty, join forces by chance. Their escape should have been a journey of mutual support, but a massacre at a convenience store exposes the cracks in human nature: a mother who steals candy stabs someone to protect her child, a mistress turns on her lover and exposes the truth, while the "good person" who has been hiding in the shadows, silent all along, has scarlet saliva dripping from the corner of their mouth...
As the infected's growls and humanity's screams intertwine in an apocalyptic symphony, Lin Yucheng must choose before trust crumbles: should he rush to the signal tower to search for a vaccine, or uncover the shocking conspiracy behind the eerie calm of those "infected"?
[Zombies Besiege the City x A Rashomon of Human Nature] When lies become the last way out to the truth, who is watching? Who is protecting whom? And who has already died?
