The Late Qing Dynasty: An Era of Peace Begins with the Western Campaign

Hong Tianbao, a young archaeologist, unexpectedly transmigrates into the body of Hong Tianguifu, the Young King of the Heavenly Kingdom, after the Tianjing Incident in 1857. Just then, he encounters the Wing King, who has been marginalized and fallen under suspicion. One needs to stay alive, the other wants dignity and freedom, and the two hit it off. Together, they successfully hoodwink Hong Xiuquan and lead an army of 200,000 westward, occupying Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan to establish a new independent domain. Faced with internal turmoil, external threats, and massive reparations, the Qing court has no choice but to hasten its recovery of the tax-rich lands south of the Yangtze. After making peace with Hong Tianbao, it creates the last non-imperial prince in Qing history. After lying low and building up his strength for twenty years, Hong Tianbao watches the Qing collapse and sets out to defend the nation. Before he knows it, he's turned himself into a great power.
