I'm Not Silly Zhu: I've Learned to Lie Flat in the Siheyuan

At middle age, Wang Ping had achieved nothing. He had no house, no car, and no partner. He couldn’t even lie flat, yet he couldn’t win the rat race either. His only hobbies were watching short videos and reading novels. After reading lots of courtyard fan fiction, he became curious about the original TV series and decided to watch it. When he finished, he was filled with emotion. They were both middle-aged, but Silly Zhu had all the makings of a man who could lie flat in perfect comfort, and still managed to play a winning hand so badly that he lost everything. After an otherwise unremarkable all-night contest, Wang Ping began his lie-flat life as “Silly Zhu,” complete with the standard transmigrator starter kit. This story is adapted with the TV series as its reference. If you spot anything that seems off, feel free to point it out so I can learn and make corrections.
