Great Tang: From the Start, I Was an Executioner, and My Trait Entries Made Me a Saint

“On the Immortal-Slaying Platform, I slay gods and immortals. With traits, I become a saint and defy the heavens!”

Hong Wu transmigrated to the Zhenguan era of the Tang dynasty, where he became a lowly executioner.

Then one day, with a single swing of his blade, he struck down an “immortal” on the execution grounds

“Ding! Ninth-rank rogue cultivator slain. White trait obtained: [Swordsmanship Mastery]!”

“Ding! Seventh-rank demonic cultivator slain. Blue trait obtained: [Qi-Reading Art]!”

“Ding! Chaos abomination slain. Gold trait obtained: [Immortal-Slaying Platform]!”

From then on, the lives beneath Hong Wu's blade were no longer limited to mortals.

When a demon monk bewitched Chang'an, one swing shattered his golden body;

When the Dragon King flooded Jiangnan, Hong Wu broke his horns and tore out his tendons as an offering to heaven;

Even the immortals in the Hall of the High Heavens feared the murderous aura around him!

Yet as his traits leveled up, Hong Wu gradually discovered

The “immortals and Buddhas” of this world had long since been corrupted by chaos.

And the blade in his hand was actually the “Key of Chaos,” left behind by an ancient official who slew immortals…

“What am I going to slay? More than the sins of the mortal world.”

“What I want to kill is this rotten Heavenly Dao!”
