First of all, this is indeed the longest novel I have written since elementary school. It exceeds the combined word count of all novels with only the beginning since I was a child, which is currently 227,000 words. Next, let me talk about the reasons why I gave myself this score. The first reason is characterization and narrative issues. Indeed, from a character perspective, I personally feel that my attempt was a bit of a failure. I tried to write out the complexity of some of the characters, but it didn't really work out very well. In other words, I tried to write a principled villain, but in terms of effect, it failed. From a narrative point of view, this is the first time that I wrote a complete outline before starting to write (if anyone wants to see the original outline, I can post it in a separate chapter, it is a bit bullshit, and everyone is welcome to criticize and correct me). Of course, it was revised many times later, and it was not finalized until the eve of publishing the first chapter. However, this outline has not been preserved and can no longer be found.
