Falling Through a Thousand Calamities

A battle fought thousands of years ago laid the foundations of the Heavenly Court as it stands today. Those who died in the battle, unwilling to accept their fate, used their positions as heavenly gods to plot revenge. Two young men are bound together across lifetimes. They can't hold on, yet can't let go, unaware that this is all part of a revenge plot and that one of them is merely a pawn, used to vent someone's hatred. But who can be sure they'll emerge unscathed after calculating every move? They're all caught in the same game. The Heavenly Way is clear, and karma never misses its mark. When the two young gods return to the war of thousands of years ago, will they lay their grievances to rest, or will their hatred flare anew? Whatever the Heavenly Way demands, they will do, whether they can or not. They are all following the will of Heaven. How can anyone say what is right or wrong? Everything is destined by Heaven. No one can control their fate.
