The protagonist is an ordinary machine gunner in the Imperial fleet. When faced with mortal danger, he awakens his psionic potential and joins the Ghost Academy, becoming a Ghost agent. He meets Kerrigan, Nova, and Hanson; swears brotherhood with Matt and Tychus; seizes the Hyperion; forms the Raiders; and ultimately overthrows Mengsk's rule. It's a conventional power fantasy. This is my first time writing, and my main goal is to gain experience, so please share your feedback. Taking suggestions from readers into account, here's a note: treat this story as an alternate universe. It's heavily modified and differs greatly from the original, whose plot is already quite complete. Jim Raynor is already dead, the protagonist forms the Raiders, and Kerrigan and Nova are fellow Ghost agents and the protagonist's senior classmates. They later complete their graduation mission together with him.
