My Killing Evolution System Gets More and More Unsettling the More I Use It

Eric, a young man from Longguo, is obsessed with the history of the Hundred Years' War between England and France. While researching at the library one day, he is hit by a car and unexpectedly activates a dimensional jump program, transmigrating to the French countryside in 1412. As soon as he arrives, he encounters English soldiers looting the area. He kills a soldier who was bullying a peasant woman with his bare hands, after which his body undergoes continual changes and he gains a System.

While wandering, Eric meets Joan of Arc. The two fight side by side through battles great and small, including the Siege of Orleans. But one crisis after another follows, from the System spiraling out of control to the backlash of an artifact's power. Eric also discovers that an ancient civilization's plan and a terrifying prophecy lie hidden behind the System. Amid a crisis of trust and a quest for redemption, can he control his power and change the fate of France together with Joan of Arc?
