Han Fei Is All Smiles While Lao Ge Sobs

The protagonist, Han Fei, unexpectedly gains an ability to manipulate time, only to discover that it is limited to five minutes and drains his stamina. It ends up being little more than a tool for slacking off at work. In a world of supernatural abilities, time is money. When there’s no assignment, he slacks off; when there is one, he still wants to slack off. He fights his bosses for time and works hard to slack off, teaming up with his partner to goof off at work and matching wits with company management. It’s a hilarious sci-fi story set in a world of supernatural abilities.

The oddball partner, Lao Ge, is the company’s oldest employee. His seemingly useless ability lets him foresee the next two hours, and he unexpectedly discovers the hidden value of Han Fei’s power.

The two form a slacking-off duo and set up a “Time-Out Tea Room” in the break room, using time-stopping abilities to sneak sips of freshly ground coffee and evade surveillance.

The company suddenly assigns them an urgent project. Lao Ge foresees a strange energy fluctuation, hinting that this mission will change the fate of their abilities.

During the project, Han Fei unexpectedly breaks through his time limit and discovers the true purpose of his ability. His power also creates a strange resonance with Lao Ge’s foresight.
