In the middle of the battlefield where the fighting was raging and the shouts of killing were deafening, Shua slowly opened his eyes. His head felt as if it had been hit hard by a heavy hammer. Waves of severe pain hit him, making him frown, but the sight he saw made his eyes widen in an instant, full of horror and disbelief.
There was a chaotic fighting scene all around. They were dressed in strange costumes, with blood splashing in the cold light. Some had long bows fully drawn, and sharp arrows shot at the enemy like meteors. The sky in the distance was colorfully illuminated by the light of magic. Huge fireballs whizzed past in mid-air, and the cold frost condensed into stinging ice cones on the ground.
Shua tried hard to recall that he was clearly at home in the real world, sitting on a soft sofa, concentrating on playing the popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game "Aspect of the Soul Burner".
But how could he appear in this terrifyingly real game battlefield...
