After centuries of evolution, the Beast World now has academies. The largest stands at the center of the biggest tribe, while other small tribes have their own schools.
But none of that has anything to do with Shan An, because she’s been reincarnated as an egg, and an abandoned one at that.
Beastfolk in this world usually have two forms.
Most females prefer their human form. They awaken mental powers and hold the highest status in the Beast World, earning them the title of Awakened Ones.
Males, on the other hand, favor their beast forms. They have powerful bodies and excel at fighting, but too much combat can make them lose control, so they need regular treatment from an Awakened One.
With the mind of an adult, Shan An befriends a wandering beast as her big brother. Keeping her secret identity under wraps, she scrapes by all the way to the academy. She thinks she can finally live comfortably as an Awakened One and lie flat for the rest of her life.
But she never expected to uncover an even greater conspiracy.
