A Wish for Eternal Life

[Traditional Fantasy] [Immortality] [No System] [Cultivation]

“Everyone seeks immortality, yet they don't realize that having their wish granted is immortality itself.”

Qi Changsheng, a martial artist who only wanted to live an ordinary life, decided to begin cultivating after witnessing a city massacre.

By a twist of fate, he joined Langya Academy and discovered that the massacre had been plotted by the emperor and the demon clan to refine an elixir of immortality.

The cultivators of this world are just as single-minded, scheming to pursue immortality and increase their cultivation.

In the end, while fighting the emperor, he discovers the Cangwu clan, whose memories have been lost, as well as the other clans sealed away in the Primordial Era's great war. He also uncovers the secret of immortality.

It turns out that all of this is part of a plot laid by a Divine Lord above the Heavenly Dao, and that everything he has done along the way was wrong.

So Qi Changsheng destroys all the cultivation he has built up on this journey and starts his path of cultivation anew, passing down the Daoist arts and laying down the rules of immortality.
