[Both are pure and devoted] [Sweet romance] [Possessive, lovesick male lead]
[Scheming regent versus laid-back, goofy princess protagonist]
Ming Wangshu transmigrates into a book.
The good news: She’s the female lead.
The bad news: It’s a tragic romance.
Ming Wangshu thinks of the original heroine, who was abused in body and spirit and met a terrible end, and sighs.
She’s just an ordinary person who likes to slack off and act crazy. Why does she have to go through all this?
She originally planned to run away,
but the outside world is just too hard. She has neither money nor connections, so she ends up coming back and behaving herself.
With no other choice, she accepts a political marriage to the infamous regent, a cold and ruthless villain.
But...
Why isn’t the plot going the way she expected?
On their wedding night, Ming Wangshu lifts her veil herself. The regent isn’t supposed to be there that night, after all. But the moment she lifts the veil, she sees a stunning face staring at her. “Hmm? Why did my little princess lift her own veil?”
When the original story’s villains come looking for trouble, Ming Wangshu goes wild. She’s the regent’s princess, after all. Everyone has to show her some respect.
Su Fuyan just smiles. “It’s all right. My princess is young and a little rowdy. Please be patient with her.”
Then he turns around and kills every last one of them.
Once Ming Wangshu has saved up enough money and realizes that all the people she hated in the original story are gone, she quickly and decisively packs her bags, ready to leave.
But...
She discovers that she can’t open the door!
It's beautiful, absolutely stunning
