My One and Only Eärendil

Alyssa × Jerome 1v1 HE “You are my one and only tendre.” The souls of Alyssa and Jerome return to the world, carrying the regrets and longing of their past lives. This time, they are no longer lovers bound by religious doctrine and their own moral scruples, as they were in The Narrow Gate. Now, they are seekers of the light, holding the pen that can rewrite their fate. “The farther I am from you, the more I love you.” “You say the farther you are from me, the more you love me. I don’t want that. I want to be closer to you. The closer I am, the more I’ll love you. I’d rather you love me a little less than stay far away from me. I want to be closer to you, Alyssa. The closer I am, the more I’ll love you. I want to reach into the depths of your soul and make you look straight at what I feel. My precious pearl.” “I don’t want holiness or virtue. I only want you. You feel so far away from me. This distance is driving me mad.”, Jerome “I love you, but you don’t love me quite as much.” “No... my precious pearl.” “Don’t we have a whole lifetime together?” “But you’ll be far away from me for all of it.” “Now, even if I have to fall into the abyss, I’ll come to you, hold you in my arms, and kiss you passionately. Just as I am now...” “If you don’t get engaged to me, I’ll kill myself. You know Christians can’t commit suicide, because then they can’t enter Heaven. If I can’t get into Heaven, I’ll be far away from you forever. My precious pearl... don’t do this to me... please?” “I’m in so much pain, my heart hurts. Alyssa doesn’t want me. Let me die right now!” How will they use love and courage to find their way to an HE ending in this world of tangled bonds?
