The Undercover Agent in the World of Detective Conan

[Chaotic neutral + no female lead + takes off later]

In the early days of the new era of deductive science, the Red and Black factions are locked in fierce competition. Beneath the neon city’s calm surface, undercurrents surge. Tamai Kazuhiko, a former peripheral member of the Black Organization, is on the verge of being silenced. At the same time, the assassin He Yan is near death. From then on, Tamai Kazuhiko (played by He Yan) becomes a cog embedded in both the Red and Black factions. As their conflict grows ever fiercer, Tamai Kazuhiko (played by He Yan) faces a grave threat to his life. What will become of him...? (Just making stuff up.)

A general clarification:

The title “Mist” is a smokescreen created by the System and the world’s consciousness as they confront each other. In the dense fog, every scheme is impossible to see through or make sense of.

The Infiltrator System has only one mission: to invade the Detective Conan world. Early on, things like trust levels and execution are just window dressing. Later, once it realizes that He Yan is an exceptionally useful “tool,” the System rarely interferes with his actions.
