"Journey to Wealth in the 1980s" tells the story of white-collar Lin Xiao who accidentally traveled to Lijia Village in the 1980s. He was confused at first, but then worked hard to adapt. With his wisdom and hard work, he first helped the villagers increase crop yields, then opened a small processing plant, and introduced new breeding techniques. Under his leadership, Lijia Village has undergone tremendous changes and the villagers' lives have improved. Lin Xiao continues to work for a better future for the village.
