In a world called the Spirit Realm, four races coexist: humans, ghosts, demons, and spirits. There is no absolute good or evil here. Humans can be righteous or wicked, and the demon realm is no different. All living beings rely on spiritual qi to fight, and the more abundant the qi, the greater their strength. However, every sixty years, the spiritual qi of heaven and earth is reset. The demons and monsters sealed away seize the chance to escape, plunging the world into turmoil.
Lin Yi is a mischievous, unruly boy who has lived with his grandfather, Lin Yin, a reclusive master, since childhood. His grandfather was once a top spiritual master of Mount Longhu, but retired to the mountains for reasons of his own. During a crisis sparked by a spiritual qi reset, he entrusts Lin Yi with the Demon Atlas, which seals fierce ghosts, and Su Yao with the Demon Compendium, which records information about spirits and monsters. He charges them with catching ghosts, dispelling evil, and saving the people. The moment Lin Yi takes the Demon Atlas, he accidentally triggers the mysterious System hidden within and gains special abilities for catching demons.
Su Yao is the village chief's daughter, gentle and sweet. She has a graceful figure, snow-white skin, and large eyes that sparkle with lively light. Her long black hair is casually tied in a ponytail, with a few loose strands framing her cheeks and adding a playful touch. Though she does not know how to catch demons, she helps Lin Yi with the Demon Compendium, and together they embark on an adventure.
With evil ghosts running rampant and the world plunged into darkness, can Lin Yi and Su Yao shoulder this great responsibility and dispel the gloom? Join Lin Yi on a thrilling demon-catching adventure in the Spirit Realm as he writes his own legend!
