The Tribulation of the Nine Heavens' Demon Emperor

Mo Yang, the last descendant of the Xuanyuan bloodline, awakens as the reincarnation of the Demon Emperor at the Qingyun Sword Sect, becoming a taboo existence hunted by both the immortal and demon realms. Ling Yue, the Holy Maiden of the Cold Moon Palace, is forced to bargain with the Netherworld Demon Venerable to suppress the rampaging ice dragon soul within her, but leaves half a wisp of her soul behind in the Yellow Springs. When the human-sacrifice conspiracy behind the Heaven-Mending Plan comes to light, the two discover that the so-called rift in the Heavenly Dao is actually a wound inflicted by a higher civilization harvesting the world. On the day the broken sword is reforged, Mo Yang shatters the shackles of his bloodline and, wielding the Xuanyuan Sword in his Demon Emperor form, points it toward the highest heavens. “If mending the heavens requires the destruction of love, then let this false Heavenly Dao endure another primordial calamity!”
