KO One: My Friend Is KO1Two

Although Li Yanyan is the protagonist, this is really an ensemble story, and it’s aimed at female readers. You’ll get to see:

KO1, Li Yanyan, whose strength surpasses the KO rankings’ very definition of power; KO2, Qiu Qiu, the student council president and rule-maker who strikes fear into the hearts of the Eight Great Schools; KO3, Lei Ting, the boss of KO One; the two female leaders of the Iron Guards: Han Ke La Ma Han, captain of the South City Guards, and Xia Mei, captain of the North City Guards; and the unprecedented special case among the twelve time-space realms, the Alliance Leader of the Silver Time-Space, Diao Chan…

As the strongest member of their trio, Gu Zhan couldn’t for the life of him figure out how he’d suddenly become the weakest.

Even though he was KO.3.

[Everyone else: KO.3, you call that weak? Are you blind or what?~]

Gu Zhan stared at Zhi Ge, head lowered as he fiddled with his shield, and Li Yanyan, gazing at the sky beneath her umbrella.

“Don’t you two owe me an explanation?”

(Points at Zhi Ge) “Last month, you were cornered by thugs in an alley, yelling, ‘Zhan, come save me!’ And now you’re telling me you’re KO.2?”

(Whirls around to face Li Yanyan) “And you! When I said, ‘Yanyan, stay behind me and don’t run off,’ you nodded obediently. Were you actually strong enough to punch the other guys so hard you’d take out an entire street?!”

(He falls silent for three seconds, then grits his teeth and forces out the words.) “How did I end up at the bottom of our trio...”

Zhi Ge (chasing after him, clutching his head and wailing):

“Zhan! Let me explain! That time the thugs cornered me was because Yanyan said they’d stolen her strawberry cake!”

(Voice breaking) “Yanyan and I really weren’t trying to deceive you!”

Gu Zhan’s furious roar comes from the distance: “Shut up! Take ten punches from me first, then we’ll talk!”
