A gentle, cunning, innocent CEO who knows how to deal with idiots (Wen Yizhu)

Others ascend to immortality. His master ascends straight down to the underworld.

Before Lin Yunmiao can even start crying, his master slaps him hard. “Quit crying! You’ll cry all your good fortune away!”

“Get down the mountain and go earn some merit! And… ahem, if you get into trouble, remember to call your master. Help me boost my numbers, all right?”

Lin Yunmiao: “…”

He dutifully heads down the mountain, only to run into a strange man.

Everyone else can see only the man’s handsome face, but to Lin Yunmiao, he’s covered from head to toe in gleaming golden merit.

Lin Yunmiao smiles and holds out a hand. “Hi, want to hook up?”

Wen Yizhu: “?”

Wen Yizhu thinks the guy must have something wrong with his head, until he watches him exorcise a ghost with his bare hands.

Looking at the little Taoist master’s warm, welcoming smile, Wen Yizhu smiles gently, casting aside his earlier aloofness, and answers firmly.

“Sure.”

For the sake of world peace, wouldn’t it be perfectly reasonable for him and the little Taoist master to enter a marriage alliance?
