Winds Rise Over Mohuai

[Palace Intrigue] [Political Scheming] [Two Strong Leads] [Groveling for Her Forgiveness] [Ensemble Cast]

Her maternal family fell from grace, and her mother died young. Raised in the depths of the palace, Mo Wan has seen enough treachery to know that power is only truly useful when it is in your own hands.

Song Ningyan asks her, "Aren't you tired or afraid of having to stay on guard against everyone every day?"

Afraid? Not a chance. She killed someone at seven and could manipulate the court by seventeen.

The young general Gu Huaizheng and Mo Wan grew up together, but a misunderstanding drove them apart for years.

On the day he returned, she was poisoned. Everyone was frantic with worry, but only Gu Huaizheng knew how terrified he was of losing her again.

"Gu Huaizheng, will you help me?"

She wanted to fight for power and the throne, so he would give her everything he had.

On the day of the palace coup, she confronted the Crown Prince with a sword in hand. "Elder Brother! You're the one who never treated me as your sister. We could have been a happy family!"

How will the cool-headed, cunning princess and the fiercely competitive young general fare in this struggle for power and the throne?
