The story begins when King Zhou of the Shang Dynasty was bewitched by Daji, the nine-tailed demon fox, and sacrificed human sacrifices to heaven and built a deer platform for enjoyment, causing the people to become homeless. King Wen of Zhou Dynasty received a revelation from Yuanshi Tianzun during a divination in Qishan Mountain, and he needed to gather the power of spiritual beads and magic pills to help Zhou defeat Zhou. Nezha was rejected by the people because of his identity as a demon boy, and Ao Bing was pressured by the Dragon Clan to refuse to participate in the war.
