The American Dynasty, Part One

Around 2070, the United States of America had fallen, and the American Dynasty had risen. The North American continent was split in two between the American Dynasty and the West Coast Free Alliance. The mightiest empire on Blue Star had shattered, and decades of civil war had dragged America back to the social conditions of 1900. In the small Texas town of El Paso, near the distant Mexican border, seven-year-old Lillian lived a carefree life. But an invasion from beyond shattered that peace. Two factions descended on the town, which had a population of just over ten thousand, to fight over the “children from hell.” Both believed that harnessing the power of these “aberrants” would give them an overwhelming advantage, like that of an atomic bomb. And so the covert struggle began. In the end, humanity’s ugliness turned the little town into a living hell. Lillian lost everything, too, and set off on the run with Snoopy...

At almost the same time, Louis, the American Dynasty’s eldest prince, insisted on launching an expedition against the West Coast. Behind him, two pairs of terrifying eyes watched his every move... History has no “what ifs,” only outcomes.

Amid the calamity of civil war, the Dynasty, the West Coast Alliance, Salt Lake City, Zion City, the Great Lakes rebels, the American Restorationists, the Skynet Overlord, and other forces all made their appearances over the fallen body of the Statue of Liberty. Each believed it would inherit the United States of America.

But the greatest power of all was actually in Lillian’s hands. And at this point, she was only seven years old...
