Scarlet Age: from Genetic Prisoner to Wasteland Tyrant

In 2030, a global coalition launched the "Gene Dam" project to build a giant bioreactor in Antarctica to seal defective DNA. Five years later, the Antarctic reactor exploded for unknown reasons. Three million tons of aerosols carrying gene-editing enzymes were sprayed into the stratosphere, forming a "scarlet aurora" covering the world. Humans are radiated by the "Scarlet Aurora", triggering "gene atavism" and awakening ancient gene fragments. More people mutate into monsters due to genetic disorders.
