I feel like I've strayed off topic. There's very little talk about Zuo and Deng. After reading the first few chapters, there's no role for Zuo and Deng at all. Rather than talking about Zuo and Deng's humanities, it's more like a group portrait of the three generations written from Deng Jiaxin's perspective [smile]
Why do I read less and less, from the total page count of 800 pages at the beginning to 712 pages to 700 pages and finally just over 600 pages?
