Natsume stood beside the platform at Mesagoza’s Naranja Academy Station, smiling warmly at a group of incoming students.
“My name is Natsume. And yes, I have a cat.”
The new students stared at one another, wide-eyed. The upperclassman sent to greet them was pretty handsome, but why did he seem a little off? What was with all that strange talk?
Nobody got Natsume’s joke. He felt like he’d been batting his eyes at the blind.
He took a deep breath and spoke again.
“My name is Natsume, your direct senior, and a proud holder of the Naranja Academy Hall of Fame honorary badge.
I’m also a Champion-level Trainer in Paldea, a pioneer of Team Star’s reform, and the ruler of Area Zero...”
This is a slice-of-life story. I want to write about a warm, friendly Pokemon world, like the one in Pokemon Concierge.
This is my first time writing, but I’ll do my best to bring that kind of world to life.
So there won’t be any dark parts.
