Oh No! My Secret Crush Is So Sweet and Spoiled

[A supportive, guidance-focused top student] vs. [A chuunibyou girl with a fiery heart]

[Mutual unrequited love + coming-of-age + sweet romance + happy ending]

At the summer sports meet, the whole grade is buzzing about the school beauty and school's heartthrob and their rumored romance. Somehow, a third person gets dragged into the gossip and blamed for it.

“He's at the top of Class One, and you're at the bottom of Class Seven. Even if you thought about it with your toes, you'd know the two of you have nothing to do with each other.”

Facing everyone's sneers, Su Wanjin vents her anger by beating up an orange and breaking apart the chocolates someone bought her, the same kind the school beauty likes.

“From now on, Sister Jin and Shao Yu are drawing a clear line between us!”

“Look at the field!”

To silence the gossip, Shao Yu takes the lead for love and signs up for the two-thousand-meter race.

“Su Wanjin, will you cheer me on?”

Su Wanjin stands on the podium as a breeze stirs her long ponytail. Her cheeks are flushed from running, and she calls out bravely:

“Shao Yu, pick up the pace! The finish line is just ahead!”

Shao Yu watches his name scroll across the screen:

First-Year Boys' 2,000-Meter Champion: Shao Yu.

Cheers, applause, and shouts of encouragement surround him. He has beaten his personal best at the sports meet, and his eyes search the crowd for her.

Without Su Wanjin's support, he might never have found the strength to push himself so hard.

“Su Wanjin, I just wanted to set an example for you. Good luck in your event!”

*[In this dim, inscrutable world, you are the tomorrow I could only hope to find.]*
