You Think It's Luck, but It's All Merit I've Saved Up

An alternate-history setting under the rule of an empress. Men and women are equal, and there are no strict rules keeping them apart. Cultivators exist, but most keep a low profile and avoid the world, rarely getting involved in ordinary people's lives.

Ever since Ji Lan'er encountered a little mouse hiding in a drawer, one strange thing after another has begun to happen... It turns out everything said in the storybooks is true. The good fortune that seems like coincidence is all a reward she has earned.

Ji Lan'er is delighted. In this life, she can wield spiritual power beyond that of ordinary people and cultivate powerful abilities with ease. She is also eager to discover what wonders this life has in store for her...

Readers are welcome to point out errors and help shape the story. I'll do my best to keep updating and give it a proper ending! The protagonist will grow gradually, and the romance is still undecided. Comments and critiques are welcome.
