Su Wanwan staggered down the hotel hallway. Her high heels felt as heavy as lead, making every step a struggle. Her consciousness was beginning to blur, and the world spun around her. She could only cling to the wall and keep moving.
She could still hear Mr. Wang's nauseating laughter from the private room: "Xiao Su, you have to drink this. If you don't, you're disrespecting me."
She knew she'd been drugged.
The footsteps behind her drew closer. Su Wanwan clenched her teeth and dug her nails hard into her palm, trying to stay alert through the pain. She couldn't collapse. She absolutely couldn't.
Just then, she spotted a door ajar up ahead. Su Wanwan practically threw herself at it, pushed it open, slipped inside, and locked it behind her.
The room was pitch-black, with only moonlight streaming through the floor-to-ceiling window and casting a silvery glow across the carpet. Su Wanwan leaned against the door, gasping for breath. She could feel her heart pounding so hard it might burst from her chest.
Who is it?
