### **Synopsis**

A programming error on a stormy night sends college student Lin Chen plunging into the most dangerous fan-made universe of Minecraft: the Village of Fear. There are no cute pixelated blocks here, only mechanized villagers ruled by redstone technology, mutated monsters infested with corrupted code, and the Time Council looming above civilization.

His body has become a vessel for the Old One HIM. World source code flows through his fluorescent-blue veins, and his right eye reflects the throne of creation, bound by seven layers of shackles. Every time he activates another 1% of the fusion, a layer of his real-world memories peels away, replaced by bloody memories of an “experimental subject”: his medical records show that he was strapped to an operating table four years ago, while the fluorescent-blue liquid injected into his spine is labeled [HIM Eighth-Generation Host Serum].
