Demon Slayer: The Hongyuan Arc

The year is 1827, during the Edo period.

They say man-eating demons roam the night. The protagonist, Hongwei Xinji, is an ordinary peddler. By a twist of fate, he meets Kasa Youlan, a member of the Demon Slayer Corps. They each have their own reasons for becoming temporary partners and setting off for the Entertainment District.

(No System, no transmigration, with plot development and character growth.)

Hongwei Xinji: “I never thought I'd end up like this. If I hadn't met her, I'd have spent my whole life as a peddler, hahaha.”
