Fellow Daoist, Your Interest Bill Is Due

I'm Chovy. You'd better make sure that debt gets paid back to me.

The System can glitch all it wants, but why is the debt being charged to me?

At least there are rewards.

On his first day after transmigrating to the Xuan Yuan Realm, Lin Budo makes the Qingyun Sect's spirit-testing stone explode on the spot.

The elders fall to their knees, and the sect leader asks solemnly, “Grandmaster, do you still remember the debt from three thousand years ago?”

Lin Budo badly wants to explain: I'm not the grandmaster. I'm just an unlucky newbie who has only just bound himself to a cheat.

But his cheat is utterly useless.

His beginner's gift pack fails to arrive, and the reward is temporarily deposited in the grandmaster's account. Only he can see the System's prompts, while everyone else sees the spirit-testing stone explode, the formation recognize its master, the forbidden grounds open, and the grandmaster's hall light up.

The more he explains, the more convinced the sect becomes that he's an ancient grandmaster reincarnated.

The more he tries to keep a low profile, the more his cheat “delays delivery.”

Other people cultivate immortality through talent. Lin Budo does it through paperwork, misunderstandings, and a System that's never on time.
