The government suddenly distributed Myriad Nations Rising game helmets to everyone, requiring them to develop their own territories in the game every day. It turned out that when the game’s national war began, the winning side would receive resources, lifespans, territories, or even effects such as favorable weather and bountiful harvests.
The protagonist is a high school student who just graduated and immediately became unemployed. He has to sell river-snail rice noodles to support himself. But with the game helmet, he begins his road to conquest: Yue Yun, who wields a double iron-cone spear; Li Kui, who establishes rule by law; expeditions against Goguryeo; fighting the Jin in the north; and campaigns to dominate the south.
I don’t know what to say in this introduction, so I’ll just say a few things. Please check out the main story. I’m not very good at writing romance, so I’ll keep it to a minimum. If anything doesn’t work, please point it out.
If you have ideas for good plotlines, feel free to leave them in the comments. If they fit, I’ll work them in.
Also, choosing names is really hard. If you’d like a name to appear in the novel, feel free to suggest one, and I’ll find a place for it.
The main story is about becoming king and fighting for supremacy. There are blueprints, and historical figures can be summoned to serve as your subordinates.
As for the protagonist’s name, Doubao said that “Xiao” is a surname with a lot of character, giving a cool, refined impression. “Chu” suggests grace and clarity, and also brings to mind the ancient state of Chu, rich in cultural history. “Nan” feels warm and sunny, while also evoking the elegant, lively beauty of the south. Together, the three characters have a harmonious sound and look attractive written down, making a good impression. “Xiao Chu Nan” is a pretty good name that many people will like.
Although the name of the game is "Rise of Kingdoms", it focuses on fighting for hegemony. In the second game, only emperors, generals and literati NPCs from the founding period will appear, mainly the Qin Dynasty, Han Dynasty, Jin Dynasty, Sui Dynasty, Tang Dynasty, Song Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty, and Qing Dynasty. Players can summon historical celebrities to serve for themselves by obtaining summoning cards.
