At the beginning of the story, Su Li, a modern-day wasted young man, accidentally traveled to the Republic of China to become the daughter of a wealthy family. She still continued to be lazy and immersed in the luxury of the wealthy life every day. This is the first scene of the story. However, when her father's factory faces the crisis of bankruptcy, Su Li faces her first dilemma: should she continue to indulge in comfort, or should she step forward to save the family industry? In her inner struggle, she took the first step of change and decided to make suggestions for the factory. This was the beginning of the second act. Immediately afterwards, she fell in love with Chen Yu, a progressive young man, but she encountered strong opposition from her parents due to their family background. The dilemma between love and family affection made her struggle painfully, but her deep love for Chen Yu made her firmly protect love, which pushed the story to a climax. As the war breaks out and the factory is damaged, a third dilemma arises. Should we protect ourselves wisely, or should we risk the bombing of the factory and our own lives by transforming the factory to support the Anti-Japanese War? Su Li finally had a righteous heart and chose to contribute to the Anti-Japanese War. At this point in the story, it clearly demonstrates the moral premise that only by working hard and caring about family and country can you create value. Su Li also completed a gorgeous turn from being a loser to taking responsibility amidst many difficulties.
