Reborn in 1918: My German Empire

Reborn as a German soldier in the final battle of the apocalypse, Karl grinned. The armistice was only a month away. Why risk his life fighting? Staying alive was victory.

When everyone else faced unemployment after demobilization, he was already stockpiling food and guns and recruiting brothers who had faced death alongside him on the battlefield. While others complained that the mark had become worthless, he had already traded silver coins for bonds that would one day be worth a fortune.

As people rioted in the streets for bread, he had his eyes on the mountains, where a treasure warehouse abandoned by the Empire lay hidden. Word got out, drawing the Free Corps and mysterious armed groups to the area. The snowbound mountains became a deadly trap.

After a bloody battle, Karl was the first to open the warehouse doors. Inside was no gold or silver, but something far more precious: specialty steel, radios, precision machine tools... The foundations of an independent kingdom!

From then on, while Berlin’s politicians bickered on the public stage, he quietly built his network behind the scenes. As Nazi storm troopers rampaged through the streets, his “Friends of Order” grew stronger in the shadows. When war clouds once again gathered over Europe, the world was stunned to discover that a cold, efficient new power had risen in the heart of Germany, one that could not be ignored.

From the trenches to the pinnacle of power, he never went to the front, yet held the lifeblood of the nation in his hands. He never called himself the Führer, yet the Empire changed course because of him. This is a common soldier’s rise, and a strategist’s journey.
