Zeng Mingren, the real Naruto, was reborn and arrived in a China that was both familiar and strange.

This nation had split off when Marshal Zeng captured Tianjing, and was a monarchy that had caught up with the Industrial Revolution.

Its unfamiliarity left the protagonist, who had only ever known life at the bottom of society, completely at a loss.

Fortunately, his favorite anime from his previous life, Naruto, gave him a surprise.

With a System that couldn't tell reality from fantasy, and an empire ruled by oppressive aristocrats, Mingren began as a Genin, enjoying this bizarre world even as he set out to smash the empire's evil rule.
